super hitted movie YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has done well across the country, but circuits like Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Mysore and Rajasthan have done outstandingly well.

Others circuits like CP Berar, Central India, Nizam, West Bengal, Bihar are below the mark – only if compared to massy entertainers like Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger. But business at almost every mass-dominated circuit is way ahead of all previous Ranbir Kapoor starrers, a sign of the actor’s growing fan-base in smaller centres.

Overall, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a massive hit. It has remained steady at major cities on Monday and should continue it’s good run in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Banno re banno meri chali sasuraal ko

Duaa mein meethi gud dhaani le gayi (x2)

Re Kabira maan jaa

Aaja tujhko pukaare teri parchhaaiyan
Re Kabira maan ja

Kaisa tu hai nirmohi kaisa harjaaiya

Re Kabira, Re Kabira
Re Fakeera, Re Fakeera… (x2)

Tooti chaarpai wohi thandi purvaai rasta dekhe
Doodhoon ki malaai wohi
Mitti ki suraahi rasta dekhe… (x2)

Ho Doodhoon ki malaai wohi

Is it high time that audience as well as industry alike starts respecting 100 crore earners? Last year when there were a record number of centuries being scored starting from ‘Agneepath’ (January) to ‘Dabangg 2′ (December), many started commenting around this hardly being a phenomenon and just the beginning of a phase that was here to stay. It started seeming to many that there was a formula that just about anyone and everyone could bring in and gain a 100 crore success out of that.
Well, as 2013 so far has shown, one couldn’t have been more wrong. With scarcity of films that have come even close to the 100 crore mark, leave aside crossing it, it is crystal clear that a lot goes into making a 100 crore film than just a A-list cast, 2500+ screens release, massive hype and promotion.
